Dear Honeysuckle White,
It chaps my hide every time I pick up your turkey sausage only to flip it over to read the ingredients and find out that the sausage is in “natural pork casing.” (Put aside for the moment that this is gross in of itself.) My main issue with this is that I don’t eat pork. If I wanted to eat pork I would head for the pork sausage.
It’s almost impossible to find sausage that’s not in a pork casing, and when I do find it this sausage is expensive.
So I am imploring you to come out with an affordable caseless turkey sausage. I know I’d buy it as long as it was tasty!
At the very least, please incase your turkey sausage in natural turkey casings. I realize that if this is what I think it is these sausages will be really really small, but at least I won’t be eating pork!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen

I guess this was a complaint, but I’d classify it more as a suggestion. I’d love to buy a reasonably priced all chicken or turkey sausage.
The girlfriend/editor/typist and I eat a lot of chicken and turkey, since I don’t eat red meat (and I do classify swine as red meat). We get these people’s products whenever we can. I wasn’t really complaining.
But they sent me a $5 coupon towards a turkey product, so that’s what we ate for Thanksgiving. It was yummy.
Well, at least there were no complaints.
