I’m alway amazed how much people value the site. I think it’s great when people contribute in any fashion. So again, thanks!

I didn’t raise anywhere near what I had hoped, but that’s not the fault of any of the above people. I did get about half of what I expected; enough cash to cover stamps for the next year, which is cool. I have some pretty fun ideas for this site, but these ideas take cash. Eh, they’ll happen eventually.

I think I’ve learned that I can’t fund the site through donations. I probably won’t try again next year. I am working on creating a Members Only section on this site. (The above people will get comped for the first year for sure.) I also plan to release some ePubs sometime this year. Hopefully I can make a small amount of profit and make the site a bit more self-sustaining.

I think more ads are inevitable. I don’t like them, and they don’t even cover my hosting costs, but anything that offsets operating costs means I have more money to play with.
