Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.

Take down requests and C&D letters will be forwarded to my attorney Marc J. Randazza.

Wherever You Are
There You Are

Dear Site Reader,

Welcome to the relaunch of Jackass Letters. Miss me? I’ve missed you!

So this isn’t really a real letter, and is for sure not “Best of” material, but I don’t really have a better way of doing “site news.” Deal with it.

Pardon the mess. I am working on migrating content, enabling functionality, and tweaking the new design. Consider this a soft launch. I’m certain not everything will be working, but I’ll do my best to get us there. Here’s my to do list of everything I have left: To Do.

If this is your first time here, I suggest starting with The Best of Jackass Letters. Or, if you are a longtime fan, maybe start with the Complete Anthony Imperioli Letters (all in one place for the first time!). If you’re a devout reader, then just jump down to the new stuff (coming soon) and catch up. If you’re a fanatic that wants to read every word, well, you’re in luck: Archived Letters I have made it possible for you to read even the letters that failed to solicit a reply: Unanswered Letters. I have also decided to put in place a Worst of Jackass Letters. Now there should be tons of unread, and even never before posted, content. Oh yeah, and new stuff (coming soon).

If you haven’t noticed yet, this whole site has undergone a bit of renovation. I still have a lot to do, but I’m proud of what I have accomplished so far. I am hoping the new format will be much more reader friendly (especially on mobile), and I am hoping that the posting of letters will be a bit less onerous for me. At some point I’ll probably break down why I did the redesign, and what deficiencies I’ve tried to address, but that’s boring.

Jackass Letters has been on hiatus for quite some time. Posting was too laborious. It took me too long to create each update and I just couldn’t dedicate the time for even a weekly update. I have streamlined the workflow and have done my best to make it a lot easier to put new letters online.

I am not certain whether I will return to a weekly schedule, or even if I will keep this hobby up. That’s going to sort of be up to you. I’ll get into that later.

But for now, kick the tires, let me know what’s broken, what you like, what you hate, and what I could make better. I have more plans, but I wanted to get this out the door. If I wait for perfection, I’ll never relaunch.

So, let me know what you think.
