Dear Bar-S Franks,

Recently a good friend of mine purchased a package of your “Classic Franks 12 oz.” and she was supposed to get eight franks. As you can see from the enclosed photo she was shorted a frank. Now, I don’t know if quality control has fallen off at your packaging facility or if someone at the factory is pocketing dogs, but I think you either need to step up your game or institute a bag check program!

I’d like to believe this was an oversight and not some scheme to maximize profits, but you have to admit if you could pass off enough seven packs as eight packs, well, eventually we’re talking real money!

It’s probably hypocritical of me to be writing, since I fully admit I wouldn’t be if she’d gotten an extra dog. No one complains when they get too much! But the fact remains she didn’t get an extra dog. She got shorted! I am sure you can imagine her disappointment if you have any empathy at all!

Look, I am sorry if I am making a big deal out of this, but I feel strongly people should get what they pay for, and she paid for eight Bar-s classic franks. With only seven dogs her husband was forced to have only one frank and an apple, which while being fairly nutritionally sound just isn’t enough for this guy. Really, you should see how skinny he is. He really could have used that extra dog.

Please assure me you are putting in measures to prevent this from happening again.
