Dear Bureau of the Public Debt,

I read our current national debt is $13,169,257,749,345.36 give or take a few hundred thousand. This is a pretty big number if you ask me. This is why I am sending you $5. By my calculations this will make the debt a slightly more manageable $13,169,257,749,340.36! Just think, if everyone in the world did this we could get this debt whipped into shape in no time!

I know some people won’t want to cough up their fair share, but I submit that these people hate America! All the time I hear people complaining about out of control debt, but I bet not one of these people have actually done anything about it. This $5 will let me feel smugly superior to those idiots and that’s definitely worth the money!

If a bunch of people sent me $5 I know it would make a difference in my life! I wish I had a “Dept G” to take donations for me! If just 20,439 people sent $5 to:
