Dear DeWALT,

I have one of your cordless drills and have to say I am happy enough with it that if I ever feel the need for more power tools they will be the DeWALT brand for sure! I use this thing all the time. I used to borrow a friend's, but, what with the pandemic and all, I decided being around other people wasn't something I was really interested in even if they are friends.

I'm making a list of all the tools I would love to have, but if I am honest with myself I'd probably never use enough to make it worth it. A table saw tops this list. I'd love to spend my time doing fixit projects around the house, and a table saw would obviously come in handy for this. I could maybe rebuild the deck, make boxes, or cut big pieces of wood into smaller pieces to make shelves and bookcases (one can never have enough of these!).

Second on my list is an air compressor. I'd love to be able to throw a nail into something on a whim and to do all the things one can do with a nice DeWALT air compressor. (I obviously have no idea what else one can do.)

Christmas is over and no one bought me anything by DeWALT, so that means if I want something, I will have to buy it myself. But I have to admit that power tools scare me. I took a safety class, but that made things worse as the instructor told us of all the ways one could lose an eye or even a finger!

Do you have any advice on overcoming this fear and what my second DeWALT tool should be? Remember, I already have a drill.

Sincerely,

Christopher L. Jorgensen
