Dear Greggs,

​I hope the coronavirus hasn’t hit you guys as hard as it hit the US. I don’t know who your President is, but I bet he’s smarter than mine. I haven’t left the house in like seven months and things aren’t looking up for me to be leaving any time soon. Stupid pandemic! But what is hardest for me is the food. I am doing all the cooking at home, and I miss good food so badly! There are just things I seem unable to make. I jumped on the internet because what I have really been craving is some Southern Fried Chicken. I figure someone has to have a decent tutorial or even a reasonably uncomplicated recipe, but then I saw your Southern Fried Chicken Goujons! I’m not sure what a goujon is, but I know I want some of them in my belly!

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to share how these are made. I promise not to tell any more people than I have to, but I need this. 2020 has been so hard for me. I am sure it has been for you as well, so I am hoping you will empathize with my predicament! I would have just hopped in the car, except for the fact that I am social distancing like a responsible person, and also when I used your store locator it said the closest location to me was in Belfast. Belfast! (You should totally open up some US stores.) As you can see from my address…Belfast is a long ways for me to drive just for some chicken.

People keep telling me that things will get better, but I’m no longer so sure I believe them. One thing I do know is that they would be somewhat marginally better if I had some good Southern Fried Chicken! So can you help me out?

If not, maybe when this whole pandemic is over I can visit a Greggs and get me some chicken and one of those bakes. We have chicken here, but I don’t think we have those bakes.
