Dear New Church,

My friend Anthony Imperioli is most likely beyond hope (and not just because he’s Canadian), but I was wondering how I could get him out of the frying pan and yet save him from the fire (so to speak). I’ve sent him emails asking him to mend his Godless ways, but I don’t think he sees anything wrong with his behavior! I am sure Anthony is destined for the lake of fire, and maybe he was put on this Earth to serve as an example and warning to others, but I would like to insure I’ve done all I can for Anthony’s sake, and that my conscience is clear when I meet my maker!

Anthonly is a prideful man and an obvious idolater. I’ve tried to speak to him of the evils of puppetry and his unholy fascination with same, but he won’t listen to me. He engages in gluttony and most of the other deadly sins. I am pretty sure he’s never killed anyone, but sometimes he gets pretty wrathful! You should read the things he writes (actually you should try to avoid this!).

Like I said, there’s probably not a lot to be done for Anthony, but I thought I’d cast about for some strategies. Perhaps the right words spoken at the right time will be all he needs, but I have no idea what these words are or what to tell him.

Sincerely,

Christopher L. Jorgensen
