Dear Vice President Joe Biden,

It would be a big fucking deal to me if I could get an autographed photo. Just make it out to “Christopher.” (But this isn’t why I am writing!)

I voted for President Obama and wasn’t displeased you came along for the ride! When it comes to the 2012 election I think you guys have a lock. You heard it here first!

Get these done and you’ve got my vote!

  1. It’s past time to bring the boys back home. It’s time for Afghanistan and Iraq to go it alone. Make this happen!
  2. Perhaps rather than worrying about extending tax cuts to the wealthy it’s time to enact new ones. Start with the people making more than 2 million a year. I think we can all agree that they have been allowed to flourish. It’s time they start paying for the privilege.
  3. Enact meaningful bank and loan reform. Payday loans need to be made illegal. These types of loans used to be considered usury and the people that engaged in this tip of lending were considered criminals. Now these loan places are on entirely too many corners. Banker compensation is out of control, interest is too high, and the fat cats need to start paying their way (see item two above).

Sincerely,

Christopher L. Jorgensen

Dear Christopher:

Thank you for taking the time to write me and share your ideas. Hearing from the American people is one of the best parts of my job.

The President and I know that it will take the passion and ideas of citizens like you to solve the issues before us. From the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq to our economic recovery, I am confident that common ground can be found. It will take a cumulative effort from all Americans to make sure our tomorrows are better than our yesterdays.

Thank you again for your letter.

Sincerely,

Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
