Dear Windex,
I have a great idea for an ad campaign. You should come out with iPad branded Windex!
Every time my iPad gets all smudgy and gross I never know what to clean it with. I think, “It’s just glass, so use what you always use to clean glass,” but then when I reach for the Windex I get a bit apprehensive. These iPads things aren’t cheap! I don’t want to go ruining mine just because it got a few fingerprints on it and I decided to use an inappropriate cleaning product.
Anyway, a commercial with some overly cute kid cleaning his dad’s iPad with Windex would be great. Dad could walk in and be all excited his kid was cleaning off some grubby ice cream handprints using Windex.
That’s my idea! You should totally run with it. Well, unless Windex isn’t safe to use on iPads. If that’s the case this commercial idea would be terrible, since you’d have a bunch of people ruining their iPads.
Is windex safe for iPad use?
