Dear Applegate Farms,
I have a rule about eating animals. Basically I won’t eat anything cute and cuddly or disgustingly filthy. Chickens land right in that sweet spot that allows me to consume their oh-so-tasty flesh! A lot of people are like me, and eat only fish or fowl, so you can imagine my confusion when the majority of your chicken based products are all in natural pork or lamb casing. Sorry, but I don’t dig on swine and who doesn’t think lambs are cute?
After much searching I did manage to find one package of Organic Chicken and Apple Sausage that was skinless. It was pretty good. I’d eat it again, but I’m not going to go out of my way to do so. So I figure you should just dump the whole natural casing thing and make them all skinless.
I’ll thank you, the pigs will thank you, and the sheep will too!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
