Dear Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls,
First off I must apologize for the mysterious brown stains on the check I am sending you. They are ENTIRELY HARMLESS and merely coffee and nothing you should concern yourself with. There is a small chance they are chocolate muffin, but either way the money is still good and will spend the same! Now the stains are no longer mysterious I figured I should reveal why I am sending you money.
I found myself in need of a jingle so decided to look around for a singer/songwriter. I wanted a catchy little tune that would stick in people’s head, and had $75 to my name. I found a man that goes by the name of Josh Millard who was willing to make me a song worth listening to, but he wouldn’t do it for money, but he would do it for a donation to your Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls, so here you have it! I got my jingle, you get a check.
It didn’t occur to me until later that I should have just cut out the middleman. Next time, instead of waiting a year for Josh to knock out a song I’ll have your girls do it!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
