Dear Jhane Barnes,

I’m firing off a quick note to let you know I like a lot of your shirts. They’re cool. For a while I wanted to make a website and put up nothing but photos of me in ugly shirts. I tried it for a while, but I got bored. I don’t have a lot of ambition.

I don’t see myself buying one of your shirts any time soon though (I’m not that well off). I’d love to, but I get sticker shock. You and I run in different circles. Same world, different planets. I generally wear the $4 theft shop shirts. Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford one of yours, but I doubt it.

My girlfriend made me a shirt for my birthday. I wish I could send you a photo of it, since it’s pretty cool.

Well, that’s all I’ve got. Just wanted to say “neat shirts,” and I think I more or less have.
