An Unanswered Letter to Pizza Ranch

Dear Pizza Ranch,

My girlfriend and I were upset you did away with your loyalty punch cards. Especially since I filled one on the night I found out they were going away! We would have had to eat there two days in a row to use it. Don’t get me wrong, I love eating at Pizza Ranch, I just like to have a day or two of recovery in between!

I ended up giving the card to a stranger on my way out the door, so I did get to do a good deed with my full card, but I can’t help but feel a little cheated. We were told by the manager you were replacing this loyalty program with something new, but when we ask what that would be he didn’t know. Wouldn’t it have made a bit more sense not to do away with the old one until you had a new one in place? Or at least make sure your managers knew what it would be so they could tell customers that asked. Unless you’re not planning to have one at all.

We haven’t been back since, but will probably go again soon.

Also, my girlfriend eats considerably less than me when we go to Pizza Ranch. She doesn’t think it is fair she pays the same price as me. I try to tell her my three trips through offsets her one trip, but she doesn’t see it this way. What should I tell her?

Thanks,

Christopher L. Jorgensen
