An Unanswered Letter to Kembrew McLeod

Dear Mr. McLeod,

I am enclosing one mostly crisp US dollar in the hopes this will be enough for me acquire a license to use “Freedom of Expression (R) Trademark” in conjunction with my website jackassletters.com. I have not yet monetized the site, so am unable to afford more. I can understand if this isn’t enough, in which case I will be forced to be in violation of your trademark as I have no intention of taking the site down! Please send me my license to the above address.

I am currently running a contest on the website to find a better name for it, since I expect a Cease and Desist letter from MTV any day now.

Have you ever heard of “media liability insurance?” Or are you relying on your University to help you out when you are sued?

I’ve added you to the FUQ (frequently unasked questions) section of my website (pronounced “Fuck”). Hope you don’t mind, hope you like the site.

Sincerely,

Christopher L. Jorgensen
