Dear Black & Decker,
Today I used a leaf blower for the first time in my life. Surprisingly it was quite fun. I blew all the leaves into two big piles and two little piles. Then I took the Black & Decker leaf blower apart and turned it into a leaf vacuuming machine! The metal impeller chewed those leaves right up. We got like nine bags of pulped leaves! (The Leaf Hog 4500 leaf blower is actually my girlfriend’s but she let me use it.)
About the only thing I didn’t like was the constantly needing to empty the leaf bag. That seemed harder than it needed to be. The zipper on the bag should go all the way around so you can open it even further to empty. Or better yet, come up with bigger disposable bags that you just fill up and throw away! Also, make the shoulder strap more comfortable.
When I was a lazy kid I used to sleep a lot and I hated people with leaf blowers. It’s satisfying to get to be that annoying person with the Black & Decker Leaf Hog 4500! Seriously though, you could make them quieter.
All in all I had fun with this thing, but it still seemed too much like work (even if this thing will shoot pine cones a dozen feet or more!). Next year I’ll probably just hire an illegal to do the leaves, but I’ll let him use the Leaf Hog 4500.
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
