Dear Mrs. Culver,
I know you’re not into literature and literacy as much as our former Governor’s wife Christie Vilsack, but I was wondering if you’d ever read or saw the play “Lysistrata” by Aristophanes. It’s a Greek comedy whereby the women withhold sex from their husbands to end the Peloponnesian War. There’s some good life lessons in that play!
Seems to me this would be a great way to change the unconstitutional Iowa smoking ban! Just withhold that sweat sweat love from that sweat sweat Gov., and in no time the law would be changed. You could then smoke wherever the hell you wanted!
It’s what’s called a win win!
Even if you decide not to take my advice, you should consider reading the play. Or at the very least, check out the illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley. They’re quite good.
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
