Dear Chips,
Saturday, April 19th, I had the pleasure of dining in your restaurant. I had half a rotisserie chicken, the spinach and artichoke dip, and my girlfriend had the Angel Hair pasta. All were quite wonderful (though you should consider offering a half portion of pasta like you do for the chicken).
My only concern is that you have ducks in your lake but have a total lack of duck on your menu. I started craving duck as soon as I sat by the window! This was a total tease. This doesn’t happen to me when I go to Red Lobster. There I can point at the lobster I want and a while later it arrives on my plate!
You should consider doing this as well. You could offer both duck and goose (and maybe swan on special occasions). I know fowl would take longer to prepare than lobster, but this would be offset by the freshness.
I did enjoy feeding the ducks our leftover bread after our meal, but I couldn’t help wishing I’d been able to have one of those delicious looking ducks with my bread!
Thanks,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
