Dear Torani,
The other day I finally got around to taking down the bottle of Torani Pomegranate flavored syrup off the top of the fridge. I’ve had it a while and figure it was about time to open it. I’d been saving it for a special occasion. I heard 2009 was a good year for this syrup, but mostly I wanted to get it drank (or is it drunk?) before it goes off.
Anyway, I looked at the ingredients and it said something like: Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Natural Flavors, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate, and some dyes I can’t remember. What concerns me is that I didn’t see pomegranate anywhere in that list. How do you managed to get pomegranate flavor without pomegranate? (Or is that a trade secret?) And if you are using pomegranate then you should add that to the label!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
