Dear George Pataki,
I want to let you know I am behind you on the whole revoking Obamacare thing 100%! First, who wants something called that? That’s a stupid name. I can’t even believe that’s what they’re calling that law! I mean only idiots would label Health Care Reform something so stupid as Obamacare. Hell, even writing that word would make me giggle a bit if this wasn’t such a serious subject!
But before we go revoking this law can we at least agree that the current system is broken and that something needs done? I think we can!
Since we obviously agree that our previous state of affairs was unsustainable, and something needs done, I would like to know what you propose. I mean it’s fine to say that Obamacare (he he he!) sucks, but unless you have a better idea I’m not sure what good revoking this law would do. I, for one, would love a health care system that doesn’t suck, and the way I see it what we have now sucks for the vast majority of Americans (even the ones with heath insurance).
As it is now insurance only serves to make immoral and greedy people richer. Maybe we should start by locking up the CEOs of any company that denies a valid claim while still accepting bonuses. That would be my first suggestion, but I am really hoping to hear what you have to say on the issue.
Protest without ideas is pointless. Let’s get together and fix this thing!
Sincerely,
Christopher “One if by land, and two if by sea.” Jorgensen
