Dear Mr. Colbert,
I think if the Democrats win the presidency you should change parties! A defection from the Republican party would play big. Big I tell you!
Do you do birthday parties? My girlfriend doesn’t want anything big for her next birthday, which is 317 days away, so rather than a large crowd, I figure you could perform at the party. You know, tell some jokes, make us laugh, then go out to dinner or something. I’m thinking it would just be the three of us, unless you wanted to bring Bruce Willis along (he has the same birthday as my girlfriend). Well, let me know.
Oh, and anyway I could get an autographed photo or something?
