Dear James Jean,

Your artwork kicks ass, sir! But you don’t need to be told this. (I am guessing you already know.) You probably sit around saying to yourself, “My artwork kicks ass!” Not that I am pretending like you talk to yourself like some crazy person. Perfectly normal people talk to themselves all the time. Heck, I talk to myself.

I particularly like the eyeless girl with the bunny or the ones with nudity in them. A lot of your painting are how I imagine a schizophrenic sees the world. Again, I’m not implying you are crazy or in need of a therapist, it’s just that a lot of them seem like worlds unto themselves. Man, won’t I feel bad if you really are schizophrenic!

There are a lot of ideas floating around in my head. I wish I could draw like you so I had some place to put my ideas. Some day one of my ideas will make me rich. On that day I will buy one of your paintings! Until then I remain as always,
